About the Role:
As a Kitchen Attendant, you will help prepare and serve high-quality food within Discovery Bay, ensuring guests receive excellent food and service in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play an important role in maintaining food safety standards, keeping the kitchen organised, and supporting the wider food and beverage team.
Your Responsibilities:
– Prepare and cook menu items to company standards.
– Ensure food is presented consistently and served promptly.
– Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
– Follow food safety procedures and health and safety regulations at all times.
– Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and inventory checks.
– Monitor ingredient levels and report shortages.
– Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
– Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures.
– Work efficiently during busy periods to maintain service standards.
– Support colleagues and work collaboratively to ensure smooth operations.
About You:
– Passionate about food preparation and customer satisfaction.
– Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
– Reliable, hardworking, and organised.
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
– Able to follow procedures and work as part of a team.
– Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, school holidays, and bank holidays.
– Previous kitchen, catering, or food preparation experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
