We have had the pleasure of hosting film crews over many years and have featured in high profile and popular TV shows, including Eastenders, and our Helter Skelter ride appeared in a Marks and Spencer advert.
More recently we welcomed BBC’s Antiques Road Trip, Channel 5’s Grand Week By The Sea with comedian and actress Susan Calman and the 2019 film Yesterday, directed by Danny Boyle.
The pier is a traditional British seaside attraction with all the fun of the fair where families and friends relax together and make many happy memories, enjoying all the activities and rides on offer.
This all ranges from the white-knuckle excitement of our Looping Star Roller Coaster and first floor dodgems right through to the pristine calm of a beautiful seascape backdrop. Clacton Pier offers a multitude of themes and can accommodate all requirements – both indoor and outdoor.
