Clacton Pier Circus is proving another big top
hit with fans who turned out to enjoy bucket loads of traditional fun and
exciting family entertainment.
The Jolly Roger Arena was once again
transformed for performances which introduced a number of high class acts from
around the world.
The twice daily show – at 2pm and 4.15pm – runs
until Sunday June 2 and features no animals.
The ever-popular and engaging Clown Phillipo is
the glue that holds the show together and there is plenty of audience
participation for all ages to get involved with.
He is joined in the ring by Miss Caroline on her
swinging trapeze as well as her hula hoop routine; Miss Xsenia from Russia who
performs on the low wire while Africa United hot up the action with their hoop
diving, limbo and acrobatics. The line-up is completed by Miss Evangeline on
the aerial chains.
Communications Manager Nigel Brown said the
Pier is fortunate to be able to attract such a high quality attraction to add
to what it already offers.
“It is something completely different and
Circus Fantasia never fail to thrill the audiences,” he added.
“The fun continues until Sunday (June 2) so
why not come along and give it a try. The circus will then be back again – with
new acts – for the whole of the summer holidays.”
The show lasts for one hour, twenty minutes
with a ten minute interval. Tickets costing £7 can be booked online at www.clactonpier.uk or entry can be paid on
the day.
