Clacton Pier is on the search for skilled technical staff to join its expanding team.
The attraction currently employs 15 skilled tradespeople such as engineers, arcade technicians, carpenters, plumbers and electricians.
There is now an opportunity for a mechanical engineer to work on planned and reactive maintenance across the site.
A further opening is also available for a maintenance manager at senior level to oversee all technical departments.
Pier general manager Harry Peek said they are both full-time permanent roles.
“We are currently recruiting a number of other positions, some of which are summer only, and that process is well underway,” he added.
“However, these are two specific jobs where we need to add to our permanent staff for a 364-day a year operation.
“They are both career opportunities with the chance for formal qualifications and training plans.”
Overall the pier has expanded to around 200 employees across the main summer and about 150 the rest of the year.
“There are never two days the same and it is a chance to work in an exciting and vibrant atmosphere,” said Mr Peek.

“The mechanical engineer position is very much a hands-on role maintaining rides and attractions to the highest levels of safety and efficiency. They will play a key part in the winter maintenance programme.
“The maintenance manager will lead a team responsible for the upkeep of rides, building and infrastructure and ensuring facilities are safe, functional and visually appealing.”
The attraction is also looking an arcade assistant manager; bar team leader, rides and attractions team leader; assistant rides’ manager and soft play assistants.
