Eleven free fireworks displays will be staged across 2025 at Clacton Pier.
Bosses at the attraction have unveiled the ten dates of another extensive programme aimed at thanking its loyal customers – both local and further afield – for their continuing support.
The first extravaganza will be staged in April with the final one coming in November.
Six summer holiday dates have been included, four on consecutive Saturdays, to give as many families as possible the opportunity to enjoy the displays.
The pier will be once again be working in partnership with Dynamic Fireworks from Colchester who supply the pyrotechnics and set them off.
Nigel Brown, communications manager at the pier, said that last year’s free displays were well received and proved extremely popular.
“It is a significant ongoing financial commitment and the owners are keen to play their part in providing events for the community and to help boost the local economy,” he added.
“We know that the fireworks bring people into the town but they are also very much for local residents who are our regular customers throughout the year.
“We thank Dynamic Fireworks for the part they play in making these events possible and such a success.”
The first extravaganza is scheduled for Easter Sunday April 20, followed by Sunday May 4 and Sunday May 25, both bank holiday weekends.
The four consecutive school summer holiday Saturday dates are July 26, August 2, 9 and 16. These were first introduced in 2021 and are now a regular fixture.
As usual, the pier is supporting the Clacton Airshow run by Tendring District Council with a display on Thursday August 21 following on from the night flights on the first evening of the show.
Three days later there will be a bank holiday weekend celebration on Sunday August 24.
The final extravaganza of the year will take place on Saturday November 8 to mark Guy Fawkes and there will be an early lower noise level performance as well as a main one later.
The low level noise display was trialled for the first time last year and is being retained due to great feedback.
Pier bosses will be looking to continue to enhance the show with some being set to music as in the last two years.
