Clacton Pier has once again teamed up with organisers to support the town’s carnival capers and offer families discounted fun in the sun.
It will be the fifth year that the partnership has helped boost community funds which go to local groups and charities.
Families will also benefit from a heavily discounted unlimited rides wristband priced at just £10 from 6pm to close.
The event originally began as a one evening special but last year was extended to three consecutive nights and that will be repeated this time around.
It will be staged over Friday August 8 to Sunday August 10 with a free fireworks display on the Saturday night, along with free live music outside the Boardwalk Bar and Grill across the weekend.

Debbie West, Clacton Carnival Association Treasurer, said the collaboration provides a vital boost to fundraising.
“The pier gives us a substantial donation which definitely makes a difference to the money we collect,” she added.
“This all started in 2021 after our fundraising had been decimated due to the Covid pandemic and the event has just blossomed from there. It is a great partnership and a win, win all round.”
Pier mascot Sidney will be out and about on the Friday night along with the carnival mascot Honey Bear for photos with young fans.
The rides wristband does not include the Go Karts or Big Wheel. It cannot be booked in advance but bought on the day from the ticket office on the ride deck.

Nigel Brown, pier communications manager, said the attraction backs the community with various activities and events throughout the year.
“The owners are always keen to give back and support the town and district wherever it can,” he said. “The carnival has a very close connection to the pier as it all started there in 1922 by then owner Ernest Kingsman.
“We are very proud to continue that history and help the association make as much money as possible for good causes.”
With the carnival association no longer having a bank branch in Clacton, the pier also helps by taking in the coins from the carnival procession and converting them to notes.
Kerry Primmer, the Carnival Chair, thanked the pier’s owners on behalf of the whole committee for their ongoing help and support which is very much appreciated.
The procession will be staged on Saturday August 9.
