Preparations are well underway for the final character weekend of the season at Clacton Pier.
A magical two days are being lined-up with a host of Princesses appearing at the attraction on Saturday September 5 and Sunday September 6.
There will be an opportunity to turn up and meet, as well as take photos with, six different character Princesses.
Pier general manager Harry Peek said the free to attend events have proved exceptionally popular over the summer.
“This was something we trialled last year for the first time and the weekends have proved a very successful addition to our programme,” he added.
“This time we will welcome Ice Queen and Ice Princess on both days, with Tower Princess and Classic Princess on the Saturday, and Rose Princess and Mermaid Princess on the Sunday.
“It will be a royal visit and youngsters are welcome to come along – dressed up in their own costumes should they wish to do so – and make some great memories.”
The visitors will be roaming the attraction from 11am to 4pm on the Saturday and from 11am to 3pm on the Sunday.
Full details of who is appearing and when are available on the pier’s website www.clactonpier.co.uk
Earlier this summer in July it was Bluey and Bingo who met young fans and in June it was Chase and Marshall.
This week the pier will be supporting Clacton Airshow by staging one of its free fireworks displays.
The pyrotechnics are due to set off at the seaward end of the attraction once the night flights are completed around 9pm.
Pier communications manager Nigel Brown said: “This has now become a regular feature of the airshow and we are delighted to back Tendring District Council and be involved with a truly amazing event which brings many thousands of visitors to the town.”
Reduced rate Big Day Out Bands will also be available at £15 from 6pm on both Thursday and Friday.
