Celebrity
pair Stacey Soloman and Joe Swash enjoyed a sweet day out in Clacton at the
weekend.
The
couple, who have been together for five years, travelled to the town on Saturday
and enjoyed a walk down to the Pier.
Although
it was not open, they bought doughnuts and rock from the Candy Corner kiosk at
the front of the attraction and were there with Stacey’s child, Leighton, and
the pair’s son Rex.
The
family were served by Pier staff member Jayne Whittick who got a pleasant surprise
when they turned up.
“They
were really lovely, and Stacey took a selfie on my phone for my daughter,” she
said.
“From
what they put on social media later they spent the day in Clacton with the two children.
It was great to see them here.”
Stacey
shot to fame on the sixth series of ITV’s X-Factor and the singer and TV
personality has become a regular on ITV’s Loose Women and ITV2’s Celebrity
Juice.
She
was also in the jungle on ITV’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, where
she was crowned Queen by Joe, a former Eastenders star, and the previous winner
of the show.
Pier
director Billy Ball said: “It was just a shame we were not open as they could
have a great family day on the Pier. Perhaps they will come back once we reopen
and have some fun with us.”
